Social Media page

 I have created my artist (Olivia) an Instagram account for social media purposes, which I will then be able to post and upload my music and communicate with my fans and following. I did this by creating a new Instagram with my artists name and decided on her name for the page which is officalolivia. I will then be able to use my social media platform to my advantage of being able to hopefully sell my music and advertise it.

This is the first post I've posted on my instagram. I thought this would be ideal to post as it is the album cover, this is then adverting and tell people that my song and album is out, I have captioned it 'march 1st' to tell my fans when exactly it will be out. this is a great way of selling your music as your following will save the date and be streamed asap by many people. This post will help me communicate with my fans and sell my music. I posted the front cover of the album as its my cover photo and one that has a unique different mysterious look which will bring more attention to it. As well as the basic codes and conventions of the genre.

My second post, is the back cover of the digipack i designed. I went with this cool zoomed in picture of the setting location where I filmed. I thought it was a very cool and different feel to what would usually be posted. I liked this as it shows the conventions of mysterious and the unknowing which is typical codes for the genre which is different and hyper. This post is the back of my digipack with the list of all my other songs on the album. This is showing my fans what is available on the album, where you can purchase it and where you can stream it.

This is a post which was similar to the first one, however, instead this is a screenshot of where my music is being streamed and listened to. This streaming app is called Spotify which is one of the most streamed music apps in the world as it has over 30 million tracks being listened to at all times and 406 million monthly active users, which i thought would the most important place to stream in the beginning before branding out to other music streaming apps. This is my song on Spotify being screens shotted and send to me on my instagram dm's by fans showing me that they are listening to it and my way of advertising them to listen to it as well.
