Digipack

Final Digipack

  • For my digipack, I had taken a photoshoot of multiple shots of myself in set when I was filming for one of the songs I created and produced. I thought this would be perfect for my album cover as it would fit perfectly with the conventions of the genre which is in all my other songs.
  • I then was able to look back on the photos i had taken and chose which one I liked the most and use it for my digipack cover.
  • In order to create my digipack I used word document where I was able to chose from a range of formats where I then picked out a square and then created three of them and labeled them front back and inside which made it easier for me to see which was what.
  • I was able to crop the square to the size I wanted it to be as well as being able to change the size of it by the size changing the numbers of size I preferred
  • From picking my pictures out before hand i then dragged it on to my format which I did for the front and the back. I was able to rotate the pictures around to see which one I liked best and zoom it and out by pressing insert, layout and design. I decided to keep the color all the same and not touch the lighting as I liked that the picture has focused more on myself with a slight faded into the background. This giving it this dramatic effect and all the main light and color is on myself which is the main character in this music video.
  • I then used the font arial black in color white. This looked very bold and contrasted nicely with the background colors behind, this white colored writing also looks every pleasing to the eye and conotes to the audiences the vibe and genre.

I wanted to keep the disc very plain and subtle as I feel like it is quite unique and contrasts nicely with the rest of the digipack. This is the digipack I created for Olivia You and Me.
