Reflection of filming part 1-2

 Reflection of filming part 1:

Today Izel and I had filmed for our music video of You and me disclosure. We had already planned and noted everything that we had chosen to do for it and how we wanted it planned out which made it a lot easier for the day of filming. Before shooting there where a few props i needed to get in order for the filming to take place. The props included sparklers and a few confetti canons which was my idea which I thought would be good for the beat drop which I further went and bought 3 canons and 5 sparklers before filming. We then went to the location I had picked for shooting. We filmed from 2 till 4:30ish this was the correct timing for us as we got the natural light we wanted also were the lighting was then getting slowly darker and darker as we also wanted a dull setting which was the target lighting for are music video. We used high and low shots while filming as well as mutilple tracking shots for scene where I was running and moving. We used a pan shot which I really liked in a scene of me sining cross cutting into another scene. We then decided to go back and wait till it was a lot darker to shoot are beat drop scene which was filming me with the sparklers. We did this so that it would bring out the color and fire of the sparklers as it was contrast hugely with the black background, signifying the color and brighten of the sparklers. We used a dutch angle were the camera was rotated around which had a cool affect with the sparklers which made it look interesting and exciting which we wanted for the beat drop. We also took a few photos of me in the woods with a few of my props and ones just by myself for my album cover and digipack.

Reflection of filming part 2:

We had a part two of filming, as putting together are music video we also wanted to add some more shots of different settings, I had asked a few people in my class and teachers to have a look and a review on my music video together, listening to there feedback I took some notes down and what they said could make it better. This weekend I am going to go back to the original location the woods to get a few more clips of myself singing with a few more props involved, one including champagne bottles this use is only purpose for props as I thought it would be a good idea for my beat drop clips to shake it and use the bubbles which I thought would fit perfectly this the most exciting part of the song. I also wanted to get some extra clips of myself singing in different backgrounds which was also one of the feedbacks i have been given. I am going to go to notting hill this weekend to go around and filming all the colorful backgrounds and setting which I could like to then cross cut into my other location, this vibrant colors fit perfectly with my genre and to keep people interested and entertained. This is good for my music video as the genre is upbeat and has a lot going on.
